With reference to the strong opposition led in recent days against the threat of construction of a biogas plant for energy production Biogas-fueled power in our area,
Given the results obtained with the approval within the City Council of a resolution for the protection of our area:
THANKS
- Montecorvino Rovella of the population for the support and sensitivity shown;
- all associations with persistence were activated to our support
- The Mayor and City Council members who conscientiously on August 10, 2007 have unanimously approved the proposed resolution for the protection of the countryside and genuineness of our territory, absolutely avoiding the specter of a permanent and irreparable destruction in the heart of our town.
A special thanks is addressed to the Municipal Board Hello Caesar, Michael Picardi, Aldo Costanza, Giuseppe D'Aiutolo, Carmine Salerno, Antonio Pizzuti, Eustace Riccardiello and Rosario Santese who supported our field battle, which put aside the political personality, have been shown to first of all be citizens of this area, showing love and respect for it, they set out for the convening of an extraordinary city council, drafting a resolution aimed at the protection and enhancement of our Earth.
